        From BREBU to:

                1.Valea Doftanei - Paltinu dam - (20 km): The valley of the Doftana river begins with the Doftana Gorges, after 7 km there is the Paltinu dam. After 3 more km you enter the village Valea Doftanei and from there the Grohotis mountains.                       

                     2. TELEGA (6 km): The salty baths

                      3.  CAMPINA : The  Hasdeu Castle, Nicolae Grigorescu's Memorial Hause,(Open 10:00-17:00, Closed Mon, Admission: foreigners 0.50US$)  Paltinu Dam on Doftana River. 5 km

                          4. SINAIA : Visit of Peles end Pelisorul Castles, (Open 09:00-17:00, Closed Monday and Tuesday, Admission: foreigners 3 EU/pers)  Sinaia Monastery, "Alpin" Hotel at 1400 m, Poiana Chalet in the Bucegi montains, The Hunting Museum  in Posada with Ceausescu's trophees (Open 08:30-16:00, Closed Monday and Tuesday, Admission: foreigners 1.1 EU/pers) .  35 km

                       5.  BUCHAREST : The tour of Bucharest, the Palace of the Parliament, the Military Museum, the Village Museum , The Herestrau Parc. 100 km

                             6.            Turistic tours on foot from Brebu:


a) Brebu – The Heroes’ Monument from the center of the place, the New Church, the lake with its environs,
   through the “coada lacului” one can get to the source and the salt watering places, and the trip will end at the
   Museum “Matei Basarab”
b) Brebu- The Boyar’s Garden, one descents on the path as far as the Doftana river, from here, one can choose two routes:
   -first one near the timber factory towards Voila, Muscel, “the well with cherrytrees” one gets to Campina
       (1hour and 30 minutes of walking),
   -second one, after one crossesthe bridge over Doftana, one goes right near the dam from “Captare”, till Lunca
      Mare, and from there one crosses again Doftana and one gets on the edges of Brebu next to Cheile
      Brebului.(2-3h).
c)  Brebu - Valley Maluroasei (4 km): fir trees, wild landscapes, salt  water; on of the handiest route
d)  Brebu - Valley Lupului (5 km): wonderful landscapes, fir trees, Gaina top and Lacovistea.
e)  Brebu - Podul Cheii village whit Brebu Key; where brick was made for all the building of Matei Basarab and
     near   the places where painter Luchian worked as long as he was in Brebu.
f)  Brebu - Pietriceaua - Alunis - Slanic (26 km); a difficult road just for jeeps, it is better to walk
